The ICA Council on Upper Cervical Care offers a
unique service for the chiropractic profession and for
individual doctors of chiropractic involved in the practice of
and advancement of upper cervical specific protocols for
patient care.

    There has been an explosion of information and interest in
upper cervical approaches in chiropractic in recent years.
Significant advances in the basic science understanding
and substantiation of these approaches have contributed
to enhanced clinical application and a growing research
record. The ICA Council on Upper Cervical Care is
dedicated to supporting and advancing this progress
through its membership services and educational
programs.

    This specialty postgraduate council offers the profession’s only Diplomate in Upper Cervical Care that includes different upper cervical procedures in its curriculum.   The Council also provides different upper cervical organizations and practitioners an opportunity to network and share their resources and research for better patient outcomes.

The Upper Cervical approach to chiropractic care has been a core element of chiropractic practice since the early years following the foundation of the profession, and has been undergoing research and refinement since its inception.
