The goals of the Council on Chiropractic Philosophy are to:

  • Advance the understanding of Chiropractic philosophy through education and the sharing of concepts and ideas through education, interactive programs and published materials.
  • Promote continued excellence of patient care in the congruent application of Chiropractic Philosophy, science and art as it relates to the correction of the vertebral subluxation.
  • Promote the unique philosophy and scientific approach of the Chiropractic adjustment to the public
  • Assist the chiropractor to effectively administer Chiropractic care and teach the clinical application of chiropractic philosophy that would benefit the public’s health and safety and the profession’s separate and distinct status.

The Council seeks to accomplish these goals through a suitable credentialing system and certification program through associated educational institutions and organizations. In addition, the Council is available in an advisory capacity to educational institutions interested in providing the philosophy of Chiropractic in their curricula and teaching students the profession’s separate and distinct status.
