Continuing Education Information

Our exceptional 2008 ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness Continuing Education program is co-sponsored by Life Chiropractic College West! The class sessions presented Friday, February 29 and Saturday, March 1 will total 12 continuing education hours.

Chiropractic continuing education credit has been applied for, and a list of states approving the classroom sessions for Symposium continuing education credit is available from the Life West State Approvals Rosters, with updates posted as notices of approvals from individual state board offices are received.

Your attendance is recorded for each class session by designated Symposium CE Monitors on site on an Attendance Verification Form (provided in the front pocket of your Course Notes binder). You turn in your completed Verification Form before the close of the Symposium program. The Life West Department of Postgraduate and Continuing Education will process your attendance records and ship certification of your attendance to the address you provide on the Attendance Verification Form.

For Other Attendance Documentation Please Note: 

• The 2008 ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness curriculum and the continuing education credit services with Life Chiropractic College West Department of Postgraduate and Continuing Education are developed, structured and scheduled specifically for Chiropractic CE purposes. The attendance forms are designed for use in continuing education credit processing specifically for chiropractic relicensure.
  
  
• If you are seeking to apply attendance at these classroom hours towards educational credits or recredentialing for other certifications or professional designations through the ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science, you will need to also process the Attendance Verification Form (included in your course note binder materials) during the Symposium program and submit the form to the staff at the close of the Symposium program for us to maintain on file. 
  
  
• The ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science can then send a Certified Copy of your attendance record to the organization or institution you are seeking to receive credit from if you furnish, along with your completed Program Attendance Form, the name of the credential, the credentialing organization and its contact information, and a $25.00 credentials processing fee.
  
  
• The ICA and the ICA Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science cannot provide advance assurance that the program hours will be fully accepted by the agency or organization you are seeking additional attendance credit from.
