Symposium Registration Information
Registration to the ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness means you are signing up for more than a quality continuing education program! The ICA Fitness Symposium offers a special multiple-event weekend of continuing educational programs and exciting world-class athletic competitions, sports demonstrations, and other exciting programs!
Your registration to the 16th Annual ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness includes the Symposium program Friday and Saturday, February 29 and March 1, 2008, plus exciting parts of the Arnold Sports Festival Weekend including championship competition events taking place Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Columbus, Ohio! The ICA Symposium registration rates reflect a package of benefits including ICA Fitness Symposium continuing education seminar sessions, Arnold Weekend events entry, meals and your personal studio-style portrait with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger!
The unique nature of this event, with ICA’s combined educational and athletic event registration arrangements, security concerns with the special photo session with Governor Schwarzenegger, and entry to select Arnold Weekend events, does not allow for informal participation by non-registered individuals. This means that everyone at the Symposium event must be registered and have their name tag on at all times when attending the ICA Symposium Program site. Please understand that these stipulations are based on ICA's agreement with both the Schwarzenegger organization and the security staff for the Governor of California, and are program registration arrangements that are not subject to exceptions.
Registration for the ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness:
You can register for the Symposium online, by phone ((800) 423-4690 or (703) 528-5000, Eastern Time Zone office hours) or by completing and sending in the Symposium Registration Form with your payment. Registrations are not completed until payment has been made and processed. Your registration cannot be automatically refunded if cancelled due to the specialized advance ticket arrangements made by Mr. Schwarzenegger for ICA. There are special registration rates for ICA and Council on Fitness & Sports Health Science members, and the discounted rates apply when you join or renew at the time of your Symposium Registration! Hotel Reservation for the ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness:
Once you have registered for the Symposium through ICA, you are able to make your hotel reservations in ICA's special room block at The Columbus -- a Renaissance Hotel, located in downtown Columbus, walking distance from the Ohio Convention Center and the Arnold Fitness Expo.
You register first with ICA and receive a Confirmation Code Number; then you contact ICA's Symposium hotel reservation service and provide them with that number to reserve your hotel room. Symposium registrants contact our Helms Briscoe event management service by calling (toll-free) 1-877-921-9878, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm EST (you can also leave a message with the best times to be contacted), or fax your room request and confirmation number to (614) 527-7036; or e-mail HBReservations@aol.com to ensure faster processing when working around time zone differences and practice schedule demands.

Columbus is BUSY that weekend with all of the Arnold Fitness Competition and Expo events, so all of the area hotels fill up quickly. The ICAÂ’s special room block at The Columbus -- a Renaissance Hotel closes Thursday, February 7, 2008.
Registration Confirmation for the ICA Symposium on Natural Fitness:
Confirmation materials including maps for Columbus and the Symposium and Arnold Fitness Weekend events will be sent to attendees once their registration has been processed. Symposium registrants pick up their registration packets, name tags and Arnold Weekend Event tickets at the Symposium Reception Desk Thursday afternoon or Friday and Saturday mornings in the foyer outside of the Ballroom entrance. Please note that all Arnold Event Ticket Packages will be furnished to attendees directly at the Symposium site, at ICA’s Symposium Reception Desk in the Columbus Hotel. They will not be mailed in advance, to avoid any risk of loss or confusion.
Because of the unique nature of this event with individually ticketed reserved seating, security issues and ICA’s agreements with Schwarzenegger/Lorimer Productions, please note that: all attendees must be registered and wear the provided name tag at ALL TIMES and there are no exceptions for informal participation by non-registered individuals.
ICA reserves the right to cancel or adjust program dates, times, speakers, or location. In no event will ICA be liable for any travel expenses, lost profits, or other special, incidental, or indirect damages.

The VIP Package provides reserved-seat placement in a front section of the hall for the Arnold Fitness Weekend final competitions Friday and Saturday nights, entry to special VIP Dinner Buffet/Dance Party Saturday night, the Arnold Training Seminar Sunday morning, and automatic enrollment in the ICA's VIP Customized News Release Service.
VIP PACKAGE VIP REGISTRATION RESERVED SEATING SELECTIONS: ICA will make every effort to seat friends and colleagues together, provided that such requests are noted in advance, at the time of your registration. ICA has special seating privileges in the front of the VIP section and will honor your requests for seating with friends and family to the best of its ability; we regret that we cannot guarantee a specific seat position in our reserved seating block in advance. |
The Deluxe Package allows you to enjoy some of the Arnold Fitness Weekend events (including Expo entry and the Arnold Training Seminar Sunday morning) along with the quality Symposium continuing education program.
