The Council on Wellness Science, a dynamic part of the ICA postgraduate councils system, has been developed to help address what could very well be the greatest health care challenges of our era. Critical health issues involving lifestyle choices and maintaining optimal capacity to respond to environmental and emotional stressors are key elements of an urgent and growing public health need. The ICA Council on Wellness Science and its program and resource offerings advance wellness, prevention and public education strategies for patients of all ages, helping doctors of chiropractic more effectively address community health issues while building awareness of chiropractics powerful role in health care.
The mission of the Council on Wellness Science is:
To build an advanced wellness expertise within the chiropractic profession, to empower the Doctor of Chiropractic to undertake the role and responsibility of wellness authority in their community.
The Council serves as an educational and networking resource to help inform and educate Doctors of Chiropractic on advances in clinical insights, informational resources, research updates, and communication strategies to better support their patients and communities.
