Joseph Betz, DC, FICA, serves on the ICA Board as an At-Large Director, having been elected to that position by the ICA’s Representative Assembly. He practices Chiropractic BioPhysics technique (CBP®) at his office in Boise, Idaho. Dr. Betz also serves as a member of the board of directors for the Foundation for the Advancement of Chiropractic Tenants and Science (FACTS), the Mountain States Independent Practice Association (MSIPA), and the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians (IACP). He has co-authored several published research papers and is a principal investigator on the PCCRP Subluxation x-ray guidelines and the ICA’s Best Practices Guidelines. He is the Co-Chair of the ICA’s Technique and Posture Committee and Chairman of ICA’s Guidelines Committee. He has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed research papers, as well as several chapters for CBP® Lumbar Rehabilitation textbook, with a special emphasis on scoliosis correction. He has received many prestigious awards including Chiropractor of the Year from both CBP® Non Profit and the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians, as well as having been chosen as a “Distinguished Fellow” of the International Chiropractors Association.
