Consultant to the President

Ronald M. Hendrickson, MSc, retired from the ICA after more than 35 years in December 2018.  He now serves as a consultant to the ICA President.  A lifelong chiropractic patient, he served as ICA’s Director of Government and Congressional Relations from 1981 until 1989 when he stepped up to the Executive Director’s position. He has written and spoken extensively on the ICA’s behalf, worldwide, on a wide range of issues, from legislative and regulatory matters to healthy sleep and the ICA-King Koil global corporate partnership. He has testified many times on ICA’s behalf before Congress and in the states on key legislative matters, led ICA’s grass roots advocacy efforts and written a vast number of research papers, articles and calls to action on key issues of the day.  Prior to coming to the ICA, he served from 1978 to 1980 as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Agriculture for Marketing and Transportation Services, US Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.  He holds a Master of Science in Economics degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, London, England, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University, Washington, DC.
