Thomas D. Taylor, DC, FICA became a member of the ICA in 1978 as a student at Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where he graduated “cum laude” in 1979. Holding Diplomates from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Arkansas State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners since 1979, Dr. Taylor has served on the Arkansas Board for 20 years, 7 years as Secretary and 5 years as President concurrently serving 12 years as Delegate to the FCLB and NBCE. As Legislative Chairman of the Arkansas Chiropractic Physicians Association, he led the effort to pass legislation providing 700,000 Arkansas Medicaid recipients direct access to chiropractic eliminating the 20-year mandatory MD referral requirement and was awarded the “2017 Arkansas Chiropractor of the Year” for his efforts in this landmark accomplishment. Recognized as a Distinguished Fellow of the ICA, Dr. Taylor has served on the Medicare, Legislative and Budget committees and was nominated for ICA Chiropractor of the Year in 2015.
Dr. Taylor previously served as Chairman of the Board of ICA and currently serves a Board Member at Large.
