
Falls Church, VA (October 29, 2025) The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) proudly congratulates Dr. John Maltby, Sr. on his appointment as Interim Secretary General of the World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC). Dr. Maltby’s decades of leadership, service, and dedication to advancing chiropractic worldwide make him an outstanding choice for this important role.
A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Maltby has been a steadfast advocate for the chiropractic profession throughout his distinguished career. He has served as President of the ICA of California, held multiple leadership roles within the ICA Board of Directors, including two terms as President and four years as Chairman of the Board, and has represented the ICA on the WFC Board for over a decade. During his tenure with the WFC, Dr. Maltby was elected to serve as WFC President and continued to contribute as a board member until this week, when he accepted the role of Interim Secretary General.
ICA President, Dr. Joe Betz, praised the appointment, stating:
