The International Chiropractors Association Political Action Committee (ICA-PAC) is the political action arm of the ICA.

In order to meet the needs of the ICA and chiropractic community, we have recently reconstituted the PAC as a ‘hybrid’ PAC.

–Do you want to see an Medicare Legislation that includes:

–Guaranteed coverage of Exams and X-rays implemented in a timely basis.
–Guaranteed coverage of chiropractic adjustment of spine and other articulations (extremities)

–Elimination of discrimination against Medicare Beneficiaries who choose chiropractic care.

–Do you want to have the right to Opt Out?

–Do you want to protect chiropractic specific terminology in the law?

–Do you want to keep chiropractic drug free in Medicare?

Hybrid PAC Explanation

Political committees with non-contribution accounts or “Hybrid PACs” solicit and accept unlimited contributions from individuals, corporations, labor organizations, and other political committees to a segregated bank account for the purpose of financing independent expenditures, other ads that refer to a federal candidate, and generic voter drives in federal elections, while maintaining a separate bank account, subject to all the statutory amount limitations and source prohibitions, that is permitted to make contributions to federal candidates.

What are the goals of ICA-PAC?

• Provide support on a non-partisan basis to the campaigns of elected officials who are pro-chiropractic.
• Provide the campaigns of elected officials who support the legislative goals of the ICA.
  
  Our Goals also include seeing the complete reform to the chiropractic provisions of Medicare passed through ICA suggested legislation that addresses all of the needed revisions to Medicare law including the Opt out while protecting the profession from medicalization through scope expansion such as drug prescribing.
  
  Anywhere healthcare is, so should chiropractic be – meaning our primary goal in 2025 is to finally achieve the full fix to the law that manages Medicare, with the long view at making sure all federal programs or federally funded programs are inclusive of chiropractors and chiropractic. Let’s work together to achieve this major accomplishment for chiropractors in practice today, chiropractors in training, and the Medicare beneficiaries who have already paid into a system in which they should be treated as well as beneficiaries who choose the medical/i.e. drug approach to care.

Who may donate to ICA-PAC?

• ICA Members
• Any US Citizen or US immigrant with a green card may lawfully donate.

• US Corporations and Organizations
• Any US organization that desires to support the Legislative Goals of the ICA – Issues including the Opt Out Provision in Medicare, elimination of the discrimination against Medicare Beneficiaries who seek chiropractic care, including the limits on reimbursing for the adjustment only. Protection and Promotion of Chiropractic in all federal health programs with fair compensation to our community based chiropractors, promotion of increased research resourced to study the whole personal health promotion clinical outcomes of regular chiropractic care,
  
  Any US Citizen or US immigrant with a green card may lawfully donate. – Doctor, chiropractic clinic staff, patient, faculty, neighbor, the businesses and business owners that support the chiropractic profession – insurance companies, table companies, credit card processing companies….
