September 19, 2023 (Falls Church, VA)  Last night, the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) launched a yearlong  public awareness campaign that will appear on 170 public tv stations over the next year through the Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid series.

The ICA Message is a 4-minute video featuring several of  the professions leading doctors sharing chiropractic.  Our goal is to raise awareness of chiropractic as a separate and distinct health care profession predicated on its own science, art, and philosophy. We seek to promote regular chiropractic care as a part of whole person health promotion; and to promote chiropractic as a profession.

ICA President, Dr. Selina Sigafoose Jackson said, “Every day in our practices, we see the miracles that identifying the vertebral subluxation and correcting it through the chiropractic adjustment bring. We have peer reviewed data that backs up the safety and benefits  of chiropractic care; and its time we the ICA, the organization that Dr. B.J. Palmer established to protect and promote the profession and to grow it worldwide shared our message that ICA chiropractors respect the body’s own innate ability to recover, heal, function, and maintain health by eliminating the subluxations through the adjustment.  In doing so, we free up the body to do what it was designed to do – seek optimal wellness.  We want everyone to have the opportunity to experience chiropractic care, and to do that we need more chiropractors.  There are over 74,000 people for every 1 chiropractor, so we have a long way to go to meet the need. The actions needed to meet this need have  begun through this activity.  We appreciate the opportunity to work with Viewpoint and to share this message with the world.”
